Our Cabinet Refinishing Process
Cabinet refinishing is a meticulous, multi-step process. We do not cut corners — every step below is performed on every project:
- Removal of all doors, drawers, and hardware
- Full degreasing and cleaning of all surfaces
- Thorough sanding — by hand and machine — for proper adhesion
- Filling of all dings, chips, and imperfections with wood filler
- Application of a bonding primer on all surfaces
- Light sanding between primer and topcoat
- Two finish coats of your selected Sherwin-Williams product
- New hardware installation (if desired)
- Rehang and re-level all doors and drawers
- Final walkthrough and cleanup
